What is the Group’s ordinary share free float percentage?
100% - We have no partly paid or restricted ordinary shares so they would all be considered ‘free float’ shares as they are all available for trading.
Who regulates IG Group?
We have regulators in every jurisdiction where we operate. The Group is supervised on a consolidated basis by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In addition to its two UK FCA-regulated entities, the Group’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, the United States of America, Bermuda, Cyprus, Germany, Switzerland and United Arab Emirates (Dubai International Financial Centre) are directly authorised by the respective local regulators.

What does ex-date mean?
An ex-date, or ex-dividend date, is the day when stock begins trading without the value of the next dividend payment. This means that if you purchase IG Group shares on or after this date, you won’t receive dividends for those shares in the current financial year.

Do you have a dividend reinvestment plan?
IG Group does run a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP), where you can use your cash dividends to purchase more IG Group shares. This is managed by our registrar, Computershare, which securely manages all our shareholder administration.
At each dividend payment date, Computershare calculates the number of shares that can be bought with your dividend at current market prices (after deducting costs and expenses), and then purchases these shares on your behalf. Any cash balance remaining after shares are bought will be retained, without interest, and added to your next dividend.
