Non-Executive Director Changes

Appointment of Helen Stevenson
The Board of IG Group Holdings plc (the "Company"), a global leader in online trading, is pleased to announce that Helen Stevenson was yesterday appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. Helen was also appointed as a member of the Company’s Remuneration Committee.

Commenting on the appointment, Company Chairman Mike McTighe said: "Following an extensive, externally facilitated, search I am delighted to welcome Helen to the Board. She is a highly experienced Non-Executive Director with significant marketing and digital skills and experience. Helen’s appointment complements and builds on the skills of the existing Board members and her experience in the ever-changing world of executive remuneration is especially welcome."

Retirement of Stephen Hill
The Board of the Company yesterday received notice from Stephen Hill of his intention to retire as a Non-Executive Director of the Company at the expiry of his current term with effect from 27 April 2020.

Mike McTighe, on behalf of the Board, would like to extend his thanks to Stephen for his contribution to the Board during his 9-year tenure and wish him every success for the future. Mike said:
"Stephen has been an invaluable support to the board and executives throughout his period with the company. His insights and perspectives have been greatly appreciated over the years. We thank him for his dedication and service and wish him well."

This announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11.

Helen Stevenson - Biographical Details

Helen Stevenson brings extensive marketing and digital experience from a range of industries together with strong customer focus. Helen is an experienced Non-Executive Director with particular experience regarding remuneration matters. Helen is currently the Senior Independent Director of Reach plc and Kin and Carta plc and a non-executive director of Skipton Building Society.

Helen served as Chief Marketing Officer UK at Yell Group plc from 2006 to 2012 and, prior to this, served as Lloyds TSB Group Marketing Director. Helen started her career with Mars Inc where she spent 19 years, culminating in her role as European Marketing Director, leading category strategy development across Europe.

Helen has a BA (Hons) Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
