IG and Teach For All announce £2 million global partnership to tackle educational inequality around the world
03 Sep 2020
IG’s donation is part of IG’s £5 million Brighter Future Fund to tackle the impact of COVID-19
IG Group (“IG”), the global online trading platform, is pleased to announce a partnership with global education non-profit network Teach For All. IG has today made a £2 million donation to Teach For All from its £5 million Brighter Future Fund, established in April this year, to tackle the impact of COVID-19 on the education of the most vulnerable young people in the global communities in which IG is part of.
The three-year collaboration will help Teach For All’s global network tackle educational inequality around the world.
IG’s collaboration with Teach For All will facilitate the creation of new partnerships with network organisations in some of our main markets.
In due course this will offer IG employees access to exciting new volunteering opportunities and chances to learn more about educational disadvantage in a local context. We look forward to learning about and sharing their efforts of IG employees to lend their expertise, time, and energy to students, teachers, and communities across the Teach For All network.
