Premium Client Manager – Sales Trading

Reporting to the Head of Premium Client Management, we are seeking a Premium Client Manager to join our Sales Trading team.

The Premium Client Manager will be providing excellent trade execution, account management and customer service to the ’premium‘ client base, maximising retention as well as growing and managing their business.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensuring that allocated premium clients are introduced and contacted regularly, and managed in such a way as to justify the value of the 'premium' service
  • Handling incoming dealing lines
  • Proactively and frequently entertaining clients (and prospects) at various sporting and cultural events

Essential criteria

  • At least one year's experience of derivative sales
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of financial markets
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of spread betting
  • Experience of working within a financial environment such as a busy dealing room
  • Educated to A-level standard at least
  • Securities Institute Securities & Financial Derivatives certificate
  • Highly numerate
  • Able to communicate with and develop relationships with clients
  • Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
  • Self-motivated and able to work at a consistently high standard
  • Able to take proactive action when necessary
  • Logical and analytical approach
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment
  • Very well-organised with good time management skills
