    Financial Marketing Writer

    We are looking for a new copywriter to join our copy and editorial team. This team is responsible for creating and updating marketing content, especially online content, across all sections of the business.

    We welcome applications from talented, confident and conscientious writers with an interest in financial services. In particular you should have:

    • Expertise with online content. You will need an understanding of the unique demands of online copy, and good IT and web skills across a range of software packages. Experience in creating new websites would be an advantage.
    • A keen attention to detail. Consistency and accuracy are key to all our external communications. You should also be comfortable handling figures with precision.
    • An adaptable writing style. You should be able to adjust your copy to the appropriate audience, from the leisure market through to the high-end institutional investor.

    You will be a graduate with at least three years’ writing or editing experience, preferably in a commercial environment. You should be well-organised in managing your workload, and some experience in project management would be preferable. A desire to learn about our investment products is essential.

    Production Artworker

    We are looking for an enthusiastic production artworker to join our busy production services team within the financial marketing department. You will assist the team by providing artwork support for marketing activity across all media and for all our businesses worldwide.

    You will have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience within a corporate environment and will have proven experience of taking design concepts for press advertisements, inserts, brochures etc through to production.

    You will ideally be educated to a degree level and will have experience in PC and Mac-based software, Adobe CS3 (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Acrobat, Quark and MS Office. It is also essential that you are fast and accurate, with a good eye for layout, typography and detail.

    You will be a self-starter and an enthusiastic team-player, willing and able to help colleagues during peak times. You will also have excellent written skills, be confident and friendly and be deadline/delivery conscious as well as flexible to changing priorities.

    Client Services

    Dealing & Client Services Co-ordinator (Swedish)

    As Dealing and Client Services Co-ordinator, you will be required to assist the Dealing Desk by answering dealing overflow lines, as well as the Helpdesk by responding to a wide range of client queries either by email or telephone.

    You will be responsible for carrying out checks to ensure that trades are executed at the correct level, and will also be responsible for investigating and resolving client disputes, and performing administrative duties relating to client accounts.

    Full training will be provided in every aspect of financial dealing and client support.

    It is essential that you are fluent in Swedish and English. Essentially, you will be educated to a degree level, have previous telephone customer service experience, at least six months’ experience of working within a financial services environment, as well as an understanding of financial markets.

    You will have excellent telephone manner (with excellent verbal and written English and Swedish language skills), be logical, numerate and very well organised, have sound administrative skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You should also be self-motivated and able to work at a consistently high standard. The ability to cope under pressure is essential, as is a flexible, proactive and analytical approach.

    You will be required to work shifts through the week, normally with no more than two late shifts in any week. Occasionally, it may be necessary to work weekends or during Bank Holidays.

    Finance

    Client Ledger Assistant

    We are looking for a Client Ledger Assistant to provide assistance with client ledger duties. Responsibilities include:

    • Processing receipts and payments for UK and overseas clients and brokers; processing multiple currencies, cheques, CHAPS, BACS and other TTs, as well as internet transfers and other receipts. Liaising with multiple banks both within the UK and overseas.
    • Reviewing client accounts. Assessing availability of funds; checking for evidence of fraud; money laundering and insider dealing; determining payment amounts and types and liaising with staff in other departments, including credit, risk, compliance, customer services and dealing.
    • Recording bank transactions. Maintaining cashbooks and performing bank reconciliations.
    • Managing currencies. Monitoring currency balances with banks and brokers and processing foreign currency exchanges.
    • Providing general administrative support.

    You will be educated to a degree level, have at least 12 months’ experience in a payments role and 12 months of experience in performing daily cash book reconciliations. You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level at the very minimum), have proven numerical skills, excellent telephone manner and organisational skills. You must be able to work as part of a team and cope with pressure. Experience of working in a financial environment and with different currency payments and receipts is desirable.

    In time, the right candidate could go on to lead – and eventually manage – the client ledger team.

    IT Development/Production

    Senior Tester

    We have a vacancy for a senior software tester to work on our market-leading spread betting websites and DMA (Direct Market Access) trading platform. Our platform allows clients to trade equities and futures directly in the world's financial markets, as well as enables access to our own CFD products such as forex, commodities, indices and binaries.

    We would like to hear from you if you have at least three years of testing experience in a distributed system and have a proven functional and system integration testing background. Knowledge of the equities and financial sectors will be a distinct advantage.
