The programme office is responsible for managing and delivering IG’s strategic projects and continuously improving our products. We help to translate the needs of the business and our clients into reality by implementing new or improved products, systems, and ways of working that can deliver greater value.
The programmes team ensures complex cross-stream projects and programmes are delivered to meet strategic business objectives. Product management is the organisational function that deals with IG’s planning, development and marketing of our unique range of products.
There are three main roles within the programme office:
- Project managers drive the execution of multiple projects that cross through technology and the wider business
- Product owners take responsibility for specific products, creating or enhancing them by working directly with relevant technical teams in an Agile-development environment
- Business analysts pitch new projects and run collaborative workshops to elicit and explore business requirements
