About the team

The programme office is responsible for managing and delivering IG’s strategic projects and continuously improving our products. We help to translate the needs of the business and our clients into reality by implementing new or improved products, systems, and ways of working that can deliver greater value. 

The programmes team ensures complex cross-stream projects and programmes are delivered to meet strategic business objectives. Product management is the organisational function that deals with IG’s planning, development and marketing of our unique range of products.

There are three main roles within the programme office:

  • Project managers drive the execution of multiple projects that cross through technology and the wider business
  • Product owners take responsibility for specific products, creating or enhancing them by working directly with relevant technical teams in an Agile-development environment 
  • Business analysts pitch new projects and run collaborative workshops to elicit and explore business requirements

Through a mixture of soft skills, brainpower and technical expertise we are able to innovate, influence and drive positive change. We work closely with all areas of the business, enabling you to develop a wide-ranging knowledge of how IG operates and the ways in which we can improve.

In our London HQ we have over 80 employees in the programme office working to deliver key global projects. The modern and professional office space sits right in the heart of the City’s ‘Square Mile’ and has a roof garden that affords spectacular views overlooking the Thames. 

Krakow, Poland


Our new technology-focused office in Krakow hosts a small programmes team who oversee the development of products here. The modern workspace is fitted out with Agile-friendly open-plan team areas and meeting rooms with innovation spaces.
