Editorial content planner

IG Group is looking for a media planner to assist its teams of video producers, analysts and journalists. The role involves a range of tasks, from pulling together schedules, calendars and planners to helping organise interviews and diary events, to assisting with article and video research and graphics.

You will be required to help devise editorially curated on demand and live pieces around key events.

The job will also involve liaising with various internal stakeholders around the company, from marketing to trading services.

Essential criteria

The ideal candidate would have some knowledge, and definitely a clear interest, in financial news and analysis. The role offers opportunities to develop a financial media career as you’ll be working alongside experienced analysts, journalists and TV producers and presenters, who are producing content for IG.com as well as various new top level domain sites like news.markets.

Required skills are meticulous organisation, an eye for detail, the drive to go and find things out, and the ability to work well within various teams. You’ll be an important member of the media teams within IG, ensuring they’re able to plan ahead, act fast, and are armed with additional knowledge and context.
